On December 7, 2015 the popular science lecture "Animals in Space" was held with the assistance of Auto Standard Group in the sports and educational club "Manivtsi" building in Lviv. The lecturer was a co-organizer and head of the Section of scientific-educational project "The Universe, space, time", the founder and director of the Museum of Science Fiction and Astronautics in Kiev, Ukrainian fiction bibliographer and collector - Yuri Shevel. Listeners of this fascinating lecture found out about what animal first flew to space, how the animals were prepared for the flight, which ones have became famous, how the history honours the animal astronauts and many other amazing stories about animals-passenger spacecrafts. Participants experienced the surprise and delight from the information provided by lecturer and they enthusiastically wait for the next similar themed lectures and meetings on space topics.
