From 2019, Wolf has become the official and exclusive lubricants partner of WRC, as well as FIA Junior WRC Technical Partner.
This year was rich in events: 2019 WRC World Champion became Estonian Ott Gazak (Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT).
The final stage of each rally during which the five fastest pilots were able to gain extra points was the Wolf Power Stage. Drivers went all-in during this stage, whether it’s to climb up in the ranking of that specific rally or to collect the additional World Championship points that were granted to the five fastest drivers of the Wolf Power Stage. Needless to say, the Wolf Power Stages played a crucial role in defining who will clinch the FIA World Rally Championship title. This year, the first Wolf Power Stage Award went to Sebastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia.
In addition to the positives, there were events that none of the organizers could predict: the final round of the World Rally Championship has been cancelled because of the threat of "catastrophic" bushfires in Australia. That decision confirmed Hyundai Motorsport as manufacturers’ champions for this season.
Wolf continues to collaborate with the world's most prestigious WRC Rally Series, in 2020 the Championship returns to Japan, Kenya and New Zealand and will cover 6 continents.
