The industrial group Mahle Gmbh Stuttgart was founded in 1920. There are three subdivisions in this group: Piston and engine component production, Filter production, Engine valve production The company is one of the largest producers of original components for internal combustion engines. They are supplied to more than 30 automotive companies. The range of goods almost entirely covers the automobile industry demand. There are 60 branches all over the world and about 30000 employees in the company.

The company has four research centers: in Stuttgart, Detroit, San-Paulo and Tokyo. All the researches are carried out in the close coordination with engine producers and all the specific demand and requirements of the engine producers are taken into consideration. The company is the leading supplier of engine components for the professional motor sport: 6 of 10 Formula 1 racing teams, including Ferrari, use Mahle motor components. Many sport teams from different championships such as Le Mans, WRC, NASCAR, sport lorries also use the production of the company.

The range of Mahle and Kneht filter elements consists of several tens of thousands filters almost for any private or commercial car. Filter elements are produced under the strictest control at all stages of production that excludes the possibility of producing defective products.
