After becoming a leading company in the United States, WIX Filtration Corporation entered the European market in 1997 through investment in joint-venture with FILTRON. Thus, WIX-FILTRON company was organized, which became basis for the subsequent conquest of the European markets.

14 years later WIX-FILTRON became the fourth biggest filter manufacturer in Europe. The size of the entire European operation is best reflected in numbers: thanks to efforts of 1200 people 60 million filters are exported to 70 different countries every year. The best evidence of success is the fact that WIX-FILTRON supplies OE or OES filters to almost to all of the European automotive groups. WIX-FILTRON is a partner to companies such as: Ford, Volkswagen, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Land Rover, Volvo, Renault and many others.
